The Full Story

My love of photography began when I was working in security in Iraq. Most people wouldn’t associate Iraq with photography but I found myself amazed with the subtle beauty of the sunsets, the architecture and some of the people. This began as a hobby but as the years went on, I began to look into it as a career.

I decided to go ‘all in’ with photography and, during my time off back home, I focused on landscape photography while shadowing wedding photographers. Finally, I quit my security job overseas and enrolled in photography courses and continued shadowing/working as a second shooter. Thankfully, someone took a chance on me and I had my first solo wedding. I will forever be grateful to that couple as their belief in me spurned the beginning of my award-winning wedding photographer career.

This was several years ago and I’m continuing to grow and develop my business and my skill. I love being part of a couple’s special day and I aim to make them feel at ease. I am flexible and can suit your needs - it is your wedding so you get to have it your way! I have a very natural style and I fully appreciate that not everyone finds getting their photo taken an enjoyable experience - my job is to ensure that you don’t feel uncomfortable with the camera! 

I’m based in Central Scotland but willing to travel (furthest I’ve travelled for a wedding is New York - I do love a location photoshoot)!
